A Walk in the Park

Across the street from meowmie's work is a park. Meowmie walks in it every day on her lunch break. Let's all take a walk there now:

First we cross the street (be sure to look both ways), now we are in the park. Crunch, crunch go the leaves under our feet. Then we walk down a narrow driveway and on to the fitness trail. No we do not try any of the fitness equipment.

It's a nice sunny day and we are walking next to the lake. We see squirrels "Pumpkin come back here!!" said meowmie. We hear lots of birds. There is a old house and oh look, a wooden bridge. We see ducks swimming on the lake, and is that a gator over there? On the other side of the old house are 7 ducks; 5 boys and 2 girls. Meowmie says "Pumpkin do not chase any of our friends". There are lots of trees in the park too.

Soon it's time to go back to the car. Pumpkin meows "Meowmie, meowmie carry me back!" "Ok Pumpkin, mew were a good girl to walk so far today".

This park is so furry nice! Next time we might bring April, Pippin and Casey along for another summer time adventure!

Ok kitties and doggies, get your meowmie or daddy to take you for a walk, then you can mew about your adventures too
