Pippin's adventure at the Vet

First of all Pippin is just fine. He still King Pippin MOL! However he has been losing hair at the back of his neck. Could it be ring-worm? He was tested negative for it. Could it be an allergy? If he wore a flea collar that is where it would be. No he does not wear a flea collar.

So one day last week meowmie took him in to see the vet. She is a very nice vet and we found out Pippin weighs 16 lbs! The vet took some samples (fur ) and we will have the results back in 10 to 14 days. Meanwhile the vet gave meowmie the option of giving him an antibiotic pill once a day or a shot that is to last 2 weeks. Meowmie choose the shot and it has worked quite well. It seemed almost at once the skin is clearer and the fur is starting to grow in. Pippin goes in on July 5th for his annual exam and I will give a you a Pippin update.

Meowmie has switched tracks at college and now she wants to be a vet tech. But first meowmie has to get lots of math and a few other courses. This fall she is starting the pre algebra course. One of the other requirements is that she volunteers for 80 hours at a vet hospital.

Meowmie has already talked to the office manager at Oakhurst (the Vet where we go) and soon meowmie will be volunteering there. I will keep mew updated on meowmie's progress and her adventures at the hospital.
